mod package invalid, strange

MegamansFatNutsack
MegamansFatNutsack @megamansfatnutsack

Game tried to update the mod, said something like "mod package invalid" and then uninstalled it. I can't even seem to unsubscribe/resubscribe to try again
edit: unsunbscribing, quitting the game for a while, resubscribing, and relaunching the game seems to have fixed it. very odd

Doing your fix seems to have done the trick. Thanks for that! :)

Everytime I try to use mods my game crashes. Found this on the logs:

[2022.11.25-03.25.13:108][673]LogStreaming: Error: Couldn't find file for package /Game/DRGLib/Trapcard/LIB_O_TrapCard requested by async loading code. NameToLoad: /Game/DRGLib/Trapcard/LIB_O_TrapCard
[2022.11.25-03.25.13:108][673]LogStreaming: Error: This will hitch streaming because it ends up searching the disk instead of finding the file in the pak file.

Hmmm; that shouldn't be causing crashes, the mod.io subsystem usually handles that OK. You're installing the mod through the mod.io dashboard?

Is it broken? I haven't had any S3 crash reports. Oh but I did forget to update the tag

you can see your position in the in-game overlay, but is there a way to see your velocity?
i play apex legends aswell and knowing your velocity really helps with developing fast movement strats.
using the already available frame time and player position you can definitely calculate it.
i know a bit about modding but not really about working with DRGLib so i cant add it myself.
is there a way to add it and if yes could it maybe be added to the official DRGLib?

What does this mod even do, I don't understand.

Basically it's a programming library of functions that help modders make mods better and a platform that those mods depend on to run. Think of it like Fallout/Skyrim Script Extender in Bethesda game mods. You don't use the mod yourself, but you need it for some of your mods to work.

Does the issue persist after restarting the game?

As for the file size, sorry bout that. Turns out Asian fonts are huge

I'm experiencing something similar to Unliving Skunk and Azure Storm. I can enable the mods when I log in, but if I close the game and log back in, every mod that uses DRG Lib shows as disabled, even though DRG Lib shows as enabled. I believe something isn't initializing correctly on startup.

With the release of U36 the mod spawning system has become much more reliable. Are you still experiencing this problem?

JA
jake.d.rubach @jakedrubach

Not anymore, looks all good thanks!

For some reason the mod is not showing up in my modhub so all of the mods that use drglib don,t work, I do not know how to fix it. I've deleted and reinstalled it and still no.

Does the issue persist when restarting the game with DRGLib enabled?

AzureStorm505
AzureStorm505 @azurestorm505

I have the same issue

samamstar
samamstar @samamstar

Alright Azure, Unliving and I found a fix that works, but it's kinda a bandaid. I'll send you a DM with details on how to do it

UnlivingSkunk
UnlivingSkunk @unlivingskunk

yes. I have disabled and reenabled, uninstalled reinstalled, and deleted it and redownloaded it.

I've reached out to you on discord (Assuming that UnlivingSkunk#9305 is your discord handle). It's easier to have a productive discussion when we don't have to wait for mod.io's comment system
